The Young Artists’ Competition

Description: Lakeland Civic Orchestra
Lakeland Performing Arts Center (PAC)
• Winners will perform with the Lakeland Civic Orchestra in concert on Sunday, March 7, 2010 at 4:00 p.m.
• Literature Requirement: A movement of a concerto or other material appropriate for performance with an orchestra
• The auditions will be a total of 12 minutes—one minute to enter the stage, 10 minutes to perform, and one minute to exit the stage
• The competition is open to two age groups: Ages 13 or younger, and 14 to 18 years
• Limit two students per instructor

Please note: If an applicant is not able to perform with the orchestra on March 7, 2010 they will not be considered eligible for the competition.
