The Women’s Center at Lakeland will hold the Annual Women of Achievement awards on Sunday, March 28 at 2 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center on the college campus, 7700 Clocktower Drive, Kirtland, Ohio, 44094.
The event is free and open to the public. The afternoon features a special performance by the Mentor High School Women’s Choir.
The Women of Achievement Awards are given each year to women who exemplify the Women’s Center’s slogan, “women helping women.”
In celebration of Women’s History Month, this ceremony will coincide with an artists opening reception of the art exhibit "From Woman III: Created by women, of women and about women" which runs through April 2 in Lakeland’s Fine Arts Gallery which is directly in the hallway to the Performing Arts Center.

Beginning in 1993 the Women's Center annually pays tribute to women in Lake County through the Woman of Achievement Award. Presented in March of each year in conjunction with Women's History Month, the award recognizes women whose lives personify a spirit of generosity, dedication and caring within the context of a specific theme.
