Lakeland Theatre will offer discounted matinees on Sundays for the production of Arthur Miller’s classic “Death of a Salesman.” Tickets will lowered to $5 per person on the Sundays of February 7, 14, and 21 at 2 p.m.
The play opens Friday, February 5 at 7:30 p.m. in the college’s Performing Arts Center, 7700 Clocktower Drive, and runs through February 21. Tickets for Friday and Saturday shows remain unchanged at $15 for adults and $12 for seniors, $5 for students.
About the play Arthur Miller’s 1949 classic, “Death of a Salesman”, tells the story of the Loman family and how one action lead to another among the two sons and the father. Throughout the story, Willy Loman, the father flashes back to previous times with his sons and when his eldest son, Biff was a high school football star and a local hero. Now years later, the two sons have returned home to find there once happy home has gone south and that things will never be the same again like how they once were. The two sons realize this and try to make an immediate change to assist their aging father and mother.
About the production Lakeland Theatre’s production of “Death of a Salesman” is directed by Martin Friedman, with sets and lights by Keith Nagy, costumes by Craig Tucker, and sound design by Eric Simna.
