The Knowledge Exchange at Lakeland Community College presents “Hong Kong: Where East Meets West” and “Iran: Culture and Social Life” on Thursday, December 3 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. on the main campus, Building A, room 2100. The program is free and open to the public.
Presenter Dr. Fred Law, executive vice president, provost, and dean of faculty at Lakeland, is a native of Hong Kong and will share a personal perspective on Asia.
Presenter Connie Sheykhany, math instructor, was born and raised in Iran and will shed insights into her native culture.
Opportunities to samples Chinese and Iranian food will be provided for attendees.
