The Lakeland Community College Men’s Resource Center is hosting a series of workshops to help individuals in the job search process. Lakeland’s Job Shop Speaker Program assists unemployed professionals or any active job seeker in finding employment. Meetings take place every second and fourth Monday of each month from 9 – 11 a.m. in room T-129. It is located on Lakeland’s campus and features some of the top employment experts from Northeast Ohio. Each program is free and open to the general public and drop-ins are welcome.

“Get LINKedIN!” Presented by Nora Kiss, employment services specialist at Lakeland Community college. Kiss will discuss how a personal profile on LinkedIn.com will help in the job search.
Monday, August 10
“Creating an Effective Resume” Presented by Robert Madison, president, Madison and Associates. Madison will share tips on creating a resume with an edge.
Monday, August 24 “In Your Job Search, Are You a Race Horse or a Plow Horse”
Presented by Ray Pittock, senior manageing partner of Dynamicd Design Formula. Pittock will give tips and tricks from his many years as an executive job coach.
