In response to the challenge of developing leaders for the future, the Lakeland Community College Nonprofit and Public Service Center has created a workshop to help nonprofit organizations learn how they can engage the next generation of donors and board members.
“Engaging the Next Generation of Leaders” is slated for Tuesday, June 2 from 8 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. on the College's main campus, 7700 Clocktower Drive, Kirtland, 44094. Networking and sign-in begin at 7:30 a.m.
This program illuminates the importance of attracting members of Generations X and Y and offers practical suggestions for recruiting, engaging, and cultivating future leaders who can help to advance the organizational mission.
“Involving the next generation is critical to the future viability of nonprofit organizations from both a financial and a strategic standpoint,” said Dr. Carol Willen, director of Lakeland’s Nonprofit and Public Service Center.
Presenter, Sara O'Neill Sullivan is immediate past chair, Center for Families and Children and co-founder and managing director of Second Story Productions, LLC.
