Area employers looking to fill in-demand health care jobs
Lakeland Community College is holding its 10th Annual Health Career Job Fair on Monday, March 2 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. on campus in the Health Technologies Building, first floor. There is no registration required, and the fair is free and open to the public.
Participants will get the chance to meet with recruiters from over two dozen area hospitals and health organizations. They will learn what steps they need to jumpstart their career in a health related field. Employers will be recruiting for positions in nursing, medical and office assistance, medical lab, radiology, respiratory, dialysis, occupational and physical therapy, home health aide, surgical tech, clinical trial research, and many more.
“We advise everyone to bring multiple copies of their resumes,” said Nancy White, director of Career Services. “The organizations coming on campus will speak with candidates on the spot regarding many clinical, therapy and office positions.” She added that job seekers should also dress professionally to make the best impression.
