Program to discuss regional economic development in a Lake County context
The Lakeland Community College Nonprofit and Public Service Center presents the Lake County Public Officials Leadership Forum on Friday, October 3 from 8:30 a .m. – 1 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites LaMalfa, 5783 Heisley Road, Mentor, 44060. The fee is $35 and includes continental breakfast and lunch.
The Public Officials Leadership Forum is a networking and learning opportunity for all public sector leaders, including elected officials, members of appointed and elected boards and commissions, and others who hold key positions of responsibility in government and public service in Lake County. Key subjects to be addressed at the October 3 forum are the state of the Northeast Ohio economy and regional economic development efforts, with a focus on progress made to date, challenges that lie ahead, and more. Particular attention will be given to a discussion of Lake County’s role in the regional picture.
The half-day forum will be moderated by Dennis E. Eckart, Principal, North Shore Associates, LLC.
