IMPORTANT CLOSURE AND SYSTEM OUTAGE NOTIFICATION - December 22-31, 2012

Lakeland Community College will be closed December 22, 2012 - January 1, 2013. Campus Offices re-open January 2, 2013.
During the close, scheduled power and computer systems outages will occur. Below is a tentative schedule of planned outages. While our goal is to stick to this schedule, we acknowledge that unexpected complications may arise and apologize in advance for any inconvenience.
December 22, 2012 - Scheduled Campus wide power outage from 6:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.
December 22-31, 2012 - Scheduled outage for all online payment systems (including continuing education class registration, tuition loan payment plans and more)
December 26- 31, 2012 - Scheduled Data Center move: ALL COLLEGE SYSTEMS will be unavailable
All buildings on campus will have power and there may be intermittent accessibility, however for general purposes the following services WILL NOT be reliably available:
- Phones
- Fax
- Internet access
- Wireless Access
- Video Distance Learning
- Blackboard
- Employee Email
- Public website, including Continuing Education registration
- myLakeland, including spring registration
- Banner
- Tuition payment systems for both credit and Continuing Education classes
- Library/Library Databases
- Network access including copiers, printers, virtual desktops, or network drives
NOTE TO STUDENTS: Student email will remain available during the data center move but can NOT be accessed while on campus. Email sent to College faculty, staff, administration and/or College offices will not be able to be retrieved during this time.
*****No systems requiring internet/network access will be available during this outage*****
