Description: The Nuclear Engineering Technology Department at Lakeland Community College is holding an OPEN HOUSE on Thursday, July 26 from 2 – 3 p.m. and 7 – 8 p.m. in Room T-143.
Join Lakeland students, faculty & administration, and industry personnel in a presentation on what the nuclear power industry has to offer to a two (2) year graduate from Lakeland. Hear what first year students have to say about their first year studies. Lakeland graduates will be on hand to encourage you to register for nuclear classes. Lakeland faculty will answer questions concerning admission requirements and nuclear courses. Nuclear industry personnel can address employment opportunities and benefits at FirstEnergy nuclear power plants.
Learn about the Nuclear Uniform Curriculum Program (NUCP) Certificate that is honored throughout the U.S. at any of the 104 operating nuclear power plants.
The nuclear power industry holds a promising future in the U.S.
