As Executive Director of the Lakeland Institute for Economic Advancement,

part of Lakeland Community College, The Institute for Economic Advancement
consists of Community Learning/Continuing Education, The Center for Business & Industry,
The Enterprise Ohio Professional Development Resource Center, and Event Services
& Campus Dining.
Formed in 2004, the Institute is a customer focused entity that serves the community through the innovation and creativity of its 4 centers. The Institute strives to provide exceptional educational programs and services by addressing the needs, interests, and concerns of the community and tailoring its instructional programs to meet those needs.
In today’s competitive and global work environment, learning is a key strategic business driver. A critical element to staying competitive is knowledge. Organizational learning is an investment, not a cost, and measuring a return on that investment is increasingly more important. Organizational learning allows companies to drive revenue and minimize their costs.
The Institute for Economic Advancement is your resource for a wide variety of professional services, training and community-oriented programming. Our services range from facilitating strategic planning sessions to assisting organizations in creating effective leaders to assisting companies in implementing lean processes, ISO or Six Sigma. Through our Community Learning team we offer a wide range of continuing education and personal enrichment programs.
